The best thing about Trump is his attack on MSM (mainstream media). For in doing so he has exposed a media empire that in reality is The Ministry of Propaganda. Let me be clear I have no dog in this fight, no skin in the game. I voted for Obama in 2008 and Jill Stein in 2016. In fact in my 66 years I have never voted republican. Actually I rarely vote at all, as the entire process seems like manipulated bullshit to me.
IMO (in my opinion), media's job is to protect the elite, the status quo, key family dynasties, the ole boy network, money interests etc. Let's call them all -- Club Elite. Club Elite owns everything -- the banking system, the politicians, government, military , the police, our legal system and the news and entertainment industry. America and much of the world revolves around Club Elite's insatiable appetite for wealth and power.
However Club Elite does not yet own and control your mind and this is where MSM comes in. It is their job to manipulate what you see, what you perceive, and to engineer what you believe such that you always identify with being either a democrat or a republican or if you are a real game changer -- then you can call yourself a "progressive democrat".
You see the unwashed masses must be manipulated and subtly coerced into believing that constant war and banker bailouts are somehow necessary for our democracy. The Department of Defense calls it perception management. I call it MSM -- or the American propaganda machine.
Yes -- at the non monetary level there are discrete differences (abortion and gay rights etc.) between the parties.
However when it comes to big money issues like the military, banker bailouts or quantitative easing you have but one party. This is when all the hypocritical gas bags in Washington respond to the tug on the string and do as instructed.
Obama is a perfect illustration of this illusion. Remember 2008? Obama was the symbol for hope and change. Millions, including myself, cheered him on. "FINALLY a president for the people", I thought. What started out as hope and change became Bush on Steroids and the Obama nightmare as he immediately started breaking his promises.
His play-book was written by Club Elite and the public sat idly by as the Patriot Act was reauthorized, a false flu pandemic was declared by a corrupt CDC and insiders made millions, big Pharma was granted immunity from prosecution (which is still true today!), more whistleblowers were prosecuted by Obama than ALL the presidents combined. Obama was also responsible for the suspension of habeas corpus and due process, extradition, drones, Guantanamo, indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA, Clinton scandals, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Monsanto Protection Act, the Dark Act, NSA and wiretapping lies and illegalities, false flag terrorism, PsyOps and black budgets, banker bailouts, QE's 1-4 for the benefit of the rich ... I could go on. Do you think Obama would have been able to get away with this shit if media was doing even a half-assed job? You could say the same for the Clinton Family Crime Syndicate.

Yet he also calles CNN fake news and scum. He has openly criticized the intelligence community, and the establishment and questioned massive cost overuns with the F35 and F18, he has pulled out of the TTP, he has asked Bobby Kennedy Jr to investigate making vaccines safer. He is affilated with Alex Jones, a 9/11 truther, and has pledged support to other alternative media sites. He believes it is unwise to intimidate a country possessing the world's second larget nuclear stockpile. He talks about term limits and draining the swamp in Washington. |

I have been chasing Washington swamp things for years including the entire Vermont delegation. IMO they are all sanctimonious hypocritical gas bags. Martin Luther King, MalcolmX, the Warren Commission, the 9/11 attacks and the 9/11 commission, manufactured terrorism and ALL of our Middle Eastern conflicts these gasbags line up like the minions that they are and say nothing.
I am continually amazed how so few can be so evil while so many remain so intentionally ignorant.
I am convinced it is not a matter of draining the swamp
it is about taking personal responsibility for what we believe in
and realizing that change does not happen without confrontation.
Psychophants and especially psychopaths love confrontation, they thrive on it, they search for conflict and readily engaged
but the public abhors it.
Thus the dichotomy the ultra rich swim in opulence while the masses drown in their own apathy and passivity.
But as James Corbett concludes in the video above (at the 55:00 mark) It does not really matter how many petitions you sign how many marches you march in. Stop wasting your time trying change the criminally corrupt. Invest your time with some sort of local effort that builds community and neighbors caring about neighbors and is not dependent upon government.
Do that and live consciously and the world will change. Stop trying to bring consciousness to this pile of dung in Washington their morality was bought and paid for decades ago.
So... I have decided to takes Jame's advise and leave the swamp. I am done try to bring awareness to the masses.
I can choose to use my energy for good things that I can accomplish locally. I can take control of my own life
and live consciously and that is what I intend to do.
